"Pinot noir sourced from the Tamar Valley and made by winemaker Peter Dredge. Deeper and moodier than its southern sibling. There is a really cool reductive, struck flint character on the nose that hovers above the dark cherry and wild strawberry fruits here. Still airy and filigreed but with a serious stare and a touch of darker spice, amaro herbs, red flowers, dried citrus rind, shiitake broth and light game. The tannins are like powdered granite and there is oodles of mineral energy on the finish."
